In the historic blacksmith's shop in Guarda, Thomas Lampert produces hand-forged artworks and many a knife for the Chesa Rosatsch.
Fuschina da Guarda is the Romansh name of the art and construction blacksmith's shop, located in the picturesque Lower Engadine mountain village of Guarda. Handcrafted blacksmith pieces are produced in the historic blacksmith's shop in Guarda itself, which is protected by the monument preservation, and in the workshop in Giarsun. Thomas Lampert has hand-forged many a knife for the Chesa Rosatsch - regionalism at its best! The cutlery parts are made of INOX knife steel 1.4034. Despite the stainless steel, a little bit of rust can occur, namely at the non-blank spots. However, this can be easily wiped off and is hygienically harmless.
