Since 1991, Chesa Rosatsch has been family-owned - the house has been run as a guesthouse since the 1940s. We value personal contact and love to introduce you to the nature and culinary traditions of the Engadin. The walls of this historic house harbor numerous stories. We are happy if you also become a part of the Chesa Rosatsch story.
The Engadin mountain world has shaped the Chesa Rosatsch for over 400 years. Our location directly on the Inn, the characteristic architecture and our proximity to the cultural diversity of the region make our house a place of longing: for connoisseurs and outdoor fans.
We love the flavors and culinary traditions of the Engadin. Our kitchen works closely with local small businesses. Talent, ambition and mutual inspiration allow us to create exciting food experiences again and again.
The view into the wide valley, the impressive light moods and the proximity to nature: All this forms the backdrop for very personal stories. Whether with family or friends, as a couple or in a group: At the Chesa Rosatsch, experiences become lasting memories.
Far away from the main road, all you hear with us is the rustling of the wind and the babbling of the Inn. Enjoy this peace or discover the most beautiful sides of the Upper Engadin and glide practically from the hotel entrance onto the cross-country ski trail. We are proud to be able to accommodate our guests in this historic house and to celebrate old traditions and create new ones with you.
From then until now
The nearly 400-year-old walls of the Chesa Rosatsch hide many stories. For example, about the former owners Judita, Annetta and Anna Hatz, who are said to have sat on the roof to spin. The family spirit is still part of the Chesa Rosatsch. The material for our Alpine Food Stories is now spun not on the roof, but in the kitchen.
Sustainability
Sustainability is important to us: We regularly conduct audits with our partners and make sure to cause as little food waste as possible. We are part of the Swiss sustainability program Swisstainable as well as Food Save Graubünden and work with the Ibex Fairstay Label for sustainable tourism.
Regionality
Whether craftsmanship or specialties: with us you get the best from the region. For this we join forces with local heroes and heroines who are just as passionate about their work as we are.
