Discover our region anew and let our hiking guide Ursula Jaag show you the hidden treasures of the Engadine.
Scope of Services
The path leads a short distance along the Silsersee, then past Maloja, moors and floodplains, gently ascending through the light Engadine forest to the second lake, the Lägh da Bitabergh. If you like, jump into the refreshing water for the first time. After a stopover, the path rises slightly to the highest point of the hike, the Motta Salacina 2149. On the wonderful high plateau with a view over the Upper Engadine and the rugged Bergell mountains, we enjoy the Rosatsch lunch package and let our souls dangle.
Then we continue hiking over the high plateau - past a nameless lake (which is waiting to be named), down to the clear Lägh da Cavloc in Val Forno. After a refreshing swim in the lake, a local cheese tasting awaits us for dessert on the alp. Along the Cavloc lake we then descend to Maloja. In total, we overcome almost 600 meters in altitude on the twelve kilometers.
Ursula grew up close to nature in the small Grisons hamlet of Stels. After her tourism studies in Chur, she catered to mountaineers in various SAC huts. Today, the passionate mountaineer and ESA hiking guide shows guests her favorite tours along red-white-marked paths. The focus is on the collective experience of the group, movement, enjoyment, experiencing nature, recharging, discovering new things and lots of laughter.
